Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and entertainer. She in fact
refers to herself as Teni, the entertainer. Teni was born on the 12th
of December, 1992 in Lagos State, South Western part of Nigeria. She
is currently 28 years old. However, she hails from Ekiti state. Teni
started doing music at the tender age of two, although being from an
education loving family. Teni had her secondary school education at
the Apata memorial high school. Here, she was a member of the school
band where she performed for several distinguished Nigerians including
the former Military Administrator (Governor) in Lagos State, Muhammed
Buba Marwa; Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN and former President
Olusegun Obasanjo. After her secondary school education, she proceeded
to the US to study Pharmacy. She pulled out of Pharmacy school and
then proceeded to the American Intercontinental University where she
graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

Teni is the younger sister of the popular Afro-house Nigerian singer
Niniola. Teni always expresses the great love she has for her family
and says she finds happiness just being with them.
Teni’s name began ringing on people’s lips with her freestyles on

“Fargin†became a hit. The song spread across and was loved by

Teni released her debut single “Amen†when she was still with
Magic Fingers Records. She left Magic Fingers Records and signed with
Dr. Dolor Entertainment after which she started gaining prominence
after releasing the single “Fargin†in September 2017. She made
her breakthrough after releasing the hit singles “Askamaya†,
