Simply Tacha’s real name is Anita Natacha Akide. She is popularly
known as Tacha or Symply Tacha. Tacha comes from the Ijaw of Kalabari
tribe in River state in the Eastern- Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
Tacha was born on the 23rd of December, 1995 (She is currently, 25
years old as at 2020) She was brought up in Port Harcourt, River
State, in the south southern part of Nigeria. This explains why she
always refers to herself as Port Harcourt First Daughter. Tacha was
born into a working-class family but became an orphan.

Tacha completed both her primary and secondary school education in
Port-Harcourt, Rivers state. She then proceeded to the Ignatius Ajuru
University of Education in Port Harcourt, River State. In 2016, Tacha
completed her tertiary education at the Ignatius Ajuru University and
graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the English language.

her push, shove, and pull Mercy’s hair. The rule book of the Big
brother show clearly states that other types of violence such as
provocation, goading, bullying and victimisation may be punished by
the head of the show, Big Brother in any way he chooses. This was
considered as violent and Big Brother found her guilty of breaking the
House rule of physical violence and also accused her of intending to
harm when she shoved Mercy and pulled her hair on 2 separate
occasions. Biggie deemed that such physical violence has no place in
