Step-by-Step Process of Production

Pour base oil into a bottle or container.

Pour the essential oils you have chosen in the proposed proportion

into the bottle containing the base oil.

Stir the two ingredients to obtain an even solution.



If the perfume you are making is on an alcohol base, then the

concentration of the oil composition can be 20-30%. However, if it is

an oil perfume, the essential oils have to be 10%, and a dry one can

be prepared from beeswax in the proportion of 50/50.

Add alcohol to the mixture (base oil and essential oil) and mix thoroughly

Allow the mixture to settle for 2days or more to extract the scents

After 2days or more, add distilled water to the resulting solution and

shake properly

Leave the perfume for two to three weeks in a dark place. This is to

allow the perfume to mature

After maturation, use filter paper to filter any sediment from the solution

Pour the mixture into a bottle that has a cover.



Remember that after mixing perfumes with an alcohol base, you should

let it infuse for at least three weeks in a dark dry place. Perfumes

with an oil base, on the other hand, have a shorter infusing period

â€" less than a week. Dry ones can be used immediately after

preparing.

Steam distillation

its gas form. The essential oil is finally extracted by boiling the

plants in water.



Solvent extraction



Solvent extraction involves the process of putting flowers and plants

into large rotating containers and adding organic solvents to extract

their liquids. Organic solvents include benzene or petroleum ether.

This is poured over the flower and plant materials to extract the

essential oil.
