states in Nigeria, these are: Lagos, Ilorin, Akure, Abeokuta, Enugu,
Kano, Abuja, Benin City, Calabar, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan. The
centre runs up to 5 test dates per month.
Step 2: Choose the type of your IELTS exam. There are two types of
IELTS examinations, which is: General Training or Academic

Step 3: You can register online and pay online or download the
application form to print, complete, and submit to your local test
centre.
Each candidate who wants to register for the IELTS examination will
have to read on guidelines and instructions such as the type of the

These documents will also be required on the day of the test. Such
documents include:
A current international passport

offline payment method you have to print your registration application

send you a written confirmation of the date and time of your test. The
speaking and writing tests normally take place on the same day. If
this does not happen, then the two tests will take place within seven
days of each other.

How IELTS is scored
